Library Rules & Regulations
Membership Eligibility
Only registered students, faculty, and staff of SAU Tando Jam can borrow books. Valid ID card is required for membership.
Library Timings
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 10:30 PM. Closed on Sundays & public holidays. E-resources available 24/7 online.
Borrowing Limits
Students: 3 books for 15 days | Faculty: 5 books for 30 days | Staff: 5 books for 21 days. Reference books are non-loan.
Overdue Charges
Rs. 5 per day per book for late returns. Lost or damaged books must be replaced with the same edition or paid at current market price.
Silence Zone
Mobile phones must be on silent mode. No loud talking, eating, or drinking (except water) is allowed in the library premises.
Digital Resources
E-resources are for academic use only. Copyright violation, bulk downloading, or sharing of credentials is strictly prohibited.
Reference Section
Rare books, journals, theses, and reference materials cannot be taken out of the library. Photocopying is allowed with permission.
Code of Conduct
Maintain discipline and respect for library staff and fellow users. Any misconduct may result in suspension of library privileges.
